For my 3D school project, I decided to create a Diablo-inspired angel, drawing inspiration from the franchise’s celestial aesthetic and dramatic silhouettes. To push my skills further, I set a personal goal to deepen my understanding of Maya by modeling all hard surface elements—such as armor, weapons, and intricate details for the crown—within the software. Meanwhile, I chose to sculpt the character itself in Blender, leveraging its dynamic sculpting tools to refine organic forms, intricate cloth details, and the overall anatomy. This workflow allowed me to explore both hard surface modeling and digital sculpting in a way that complements the final design while expanding my proficiency in both software packages.
